Reading Lips...
Twenty or thirty years ago, I tried to read lips. I thought he said "no new taxes". Obviously I was wrong, because no one could be that clear about a promise and then turn his back on those that believed him.
I was at a stage where the IRAs for working people made a lot of difference and I would be in much better financial shape today. Surely we could trust the man who said this. Wrong!
I'm a lifelong Republican and supported this maroon we have running the country now. Just Like George I he's blinded by an obsession and letting the economy go to hell. He's doing a better job of destroying us than Bin Laden could possibly hope for. The only Bush I ever hope to see again will be on a can of beans.

Have Fun Fellers.....
If there is one thing that makes life worth living, it's my boys. Boys - Ha! Fine young men.
Jeff will be getting married next week to a lovely young lady. They seem to be a good match. They live in Mississippi, but the wedding is in Dallas.
Tomorrow they head for Las Vegas and the bachelor party. I still worry when they're gone. Guess I always will.
Be good guys - your Dad loves you more than anything! I've got to swim with pigs for the next week or so, but I'll shower before the wedding.
